Oh there is a piece of steel in the very back. I love it, personally I believe it's better the metal boxes with them expensive putty bars

Ok, I bought the box at below shop comes with clipboard already cut and bought the sheet of metal at:

Then ballistic rubber from:

First I painted steal plate then bought a strong caulking glue.

Then cut that ballistic rubber to fit nice in tight in the box

Can you show us an area of the rubber that was pummeled by pellets in the same spot?

75-90ish it's unreal. it's ballistic rubber. Never truly counted but it's not even expensive. If you look at the rubber you can see a few silver ends.

I kind of like the ring it makes when the pellet hits the trap, but I don't use my trap in the backyard so I can understand the need. Really nice looking trap!
