Airgun Technologies Brand new Urugan 2 delivered with deep scratch on CF bottle 🙀

Hi gang. Just took delivery of this beautiful new rifle that I’ve been lusting after since it first came out. I’ve noticed a deep scratch on the bottle. Anything to be worried about with respect to integrity? Like many of you, I’ve read horror stories about compromised high-pressure canisters, causing significant damage to person and property. Would anybody suggest I reach out to the dealer To replace bottle, etc.?

'Deep' is not very definitive. Regardless, I'd definitely contact the dealer and request he make it good.

Was the shipping box damaged? If so it's more of an insurance thing with the shipper.

Photo-document it and the box.

Box was in perfect shape. Scratch is deep enough for fingernail to sit in the groove

That scratch hurts your eyes more than the bottles integrity.

I don't think carbon fiber goes white when scratched, but the epoxy / laminate layer probably does, meaning that it is more likely the scratches depth hasn't reached the critical layers withholding HPA inside the bottle.
