Part of the barrel tensioning device,,,,, which of course might also work, it is after all just the exit of the barrel that need to be in harmony / vibrate at a higher pitch and so smaller " waves " whipping the barrel around.
Anyway bone stock or decked out, ill would like to get some trigger time on a ghost some day, it is alluring even for a not totally based bulpup shooter like myself.
Most of my Two 700 mm barrel is tensioned,from the factory, i am inclined to think the ghost should also have come that way if i am to be honest.
it is one thing to pay a premium for a rifle, only to find out you need to throw much more into it to really make it " hum "

I hope you don't have any FX Products.
This is pretty standard for most products. My Mustang has a turbo, which I chose to remap = more fun. Bigger brakes = better cooling and stopping power, etc. etc. etc.

I have 2 FX, a old one and a few years old one.
And yes the new one have seen additional investments, aside for the initial barrel issue.
But yeah it is what it is, i like to think i am a gear / petrol head, but at least now at my corrent age, i could not be bothered with tuning a car, even if it was legal here ( which it is not really )
But with a blessing from the lotto gods, sure there are some US classics i would take with a slight mod to them, not least in the power / hadling DPT, but mainly so the tree huggers will faint when they feel my +500 CUI engine.
But have to be careful, i suffer from a severe case of lead foot, and these days excessive speed = bye bye licence,,,, and also vehicle in which you perform.
Sadly Denmark dont really have any race tracks, at best glorified gocart tracks,,,, and they are often closed CUZ god forbi a little tweedy bird sould get annoyed.
so not much chance to enjoy speed here in a legal manner, and illegal well as i said above can get really expensive.
But ! my dream car a 10 - 20 ton APC / IFV, which i would daily drive. the US / euro classics ASO i would like to have in a small collection, they would come later.
2 years ago a Norwegian guy went to Germany to buy a lambo, that he opned up on a Danish street on the way home ( +100 % over speed limit ) so he lost his hours new car, which was sold on auction not long ago.
Since new law cops have confiscated about 1600 cars as i recall.
