BRK GHOST POWER WHEEL

Someone must have been very afraid of Ghost to pull a patent infringement. I guess they couldn't deal with having a better, more durable product take sales away. Glad it's all worked out, it looks like a fantastic gun. I would have liked to have been one of the first to have one, I certainly could have wrang it out.
You have any particular Dirt road & Cliff in mind?

I know they WILL have them somewhere along the line. I want a .177 for mine. But the change would be so easy. Pulling the barrel itself, takes maybe a minute. I'm pretty sure if you have an Alfa or Delta already, that barrel will fit too. :)
yes the delta wolf and Ghost barrels are interchangeable, of course on the ghost the chrono wont work!

I don't think that patent infringement would have held in court (my opinion), but I am glad they found a solution so that nonsense can be avoided. Less drama is always a good thing, so great job Daystate for rolling with the punches and keeping out of it.

I think I'll end up getting one at some point. After owning the Brocock Concept Lite for about a month now I am still amazed at the quality of it. Very rugged for a hunter. Very precise for target shooting. And the BRK/Brocock airguns have factory installed Huma regulators, exclusive to the brand! I didn't know that until this year but having such a good regulator in their platforms is another selling point.

I think FX might have helped BRK… the ”new” power wheel design & location is better protected, with less chance of accidental rotation in use or getting in/out of any carrying case. Plus, it blends in better with the look of the Ghost.…Just another opinion!
Agree, the one on the FX Maverick is easy to move unintentionally, so the newer Ghost version is much better overall...

The industry rep that I've primarily worked with on the Ghost review sent me a text a few weeks ago stating that they'd decided to make the change to this wheel and that it is smoother and offers more travel than the original one issued on the Ghost review gun I've had for a couple months now. I was also told that they'll be sending me the parts to upgrade to the wheel design shown here. I intend to report my findings of the "new" upgraded wheel over in the ongoing review in the PCP section.

And yes, with the "old" wheel design, more than once during use I have looked down to see that the wheel has rotated to a different spot than I thought it was at. Hopefully that inadvertent "adjusting" is resolved with the newer design.

It’s certainly nice to see the company ( @DaystateUK ) actually taking the time to answer questions or concerns in a Social Media platform. I hope the trend doesn’t stop at the Ghost’s power wheel bruhaha.

I mean in general, Facebook, Instagram, etc. I have seen lots of questions (my own included) on Posts from @DaystateUK in those sites that go unanswered. Sometimes details are important to customers that are looking to drop a significant amount of money on an airgun.

Oh, i see what you mean. I think its just death by too much media, we have messages coming in for 3 companies from instagram, facebook, email whatsapp, messenger as well as pms from about 8 groups and 3 FB pages, its very difficult to monitor all of them, and we have found that some people will ask their questions in multiple places at the same time. Some of the answers also need to be confidential, or may need questions answering as to serial number, where they live, postal address, what version etc, so we channel all questions to Daystate Technical Support on Facebook, email: [email protected] where we concentrate our efforts so that no question goes unanswered.
