An AoA representative told me today that the BRK Sniper Magnum and Commander Magnum share the same barrels. Is this accurate? I thought the Commander’s was meant for slugs and the Sniper’s not so much. Some feed back from owners will be much appreciated!

Neither is “meant” for slugs, but they will both shoot them to an extent. I think you have some reading to do for slugs vs. pellets. There are really no “slug” barrels to speak of. Even the fx heavy liners aren’t called slug barrels any more. There is so much testing and tuning to be able to shoot slugs well, you gotta really need the advantages slugs give you to make it worth going down that rabbit hole.

The Brocock Sniper and Commander barrels are indeed the same. In both HP and and Carbine models. Both shoot pellets and light slugs well. Of course testing and trial and error are in order with slugs to a greater degree. I hope those clears up any confusion.

I do think the commander and Sniper ma are probably same other thsn stock/chassis. I saw a video comparing the Ghost HP to the Sniper magnum and the sniper magnum outperformed the Ghost and its a lot cheaper.
