Brocock/BRK Brocock Atomic Owners I Need Some Info.

Hello,
I purchased a used Brocock Atomic. I am trying to determine the year of manufacture. If there are any owners of an Atomic that purchased new or definitely know the year of manufacture could you please share your serial number with me? It will help me determine if the gun is still in the 3 year warranty period.

For now I would like to stick with just the Atomic in case the Ranger numbers are different.

Reach out to AOA, it was sold to them and they would know best. Daystate has an online serial finder on their site, but haven’t seen one for BRK.

Sure thing. The problem is that buying new does not give accurate info on manufacturing date. My DW was purchased 2/24 but manufactured 4/22. You would need a pretty specific person who already verified manufacturing date and had a close serial number.

Mine has a four digit serial number but I have seen some with a seven or eight digit number. If this would have been easy to figure out it would be worth it. I will give AOA a call and see if they can be any help. Other than that it’s time to shoot.

Yeah, mine is a 7 digit and purchased 9/23.

The 2024 version has a barrel 2 inches longer than the original, hope that helps.

Thanks for the info. I was able to get the date of manufacture from Brocock. Took a little while to get a reply but they did get me the Mfg. date.
Was not aware they changed the barrel length.

It actually looks like the barrel might be the same length and they just made the shroud longer. I know for a small gun mine is loud without a moderator. Maybe that is why they extended the shroud to quiet it down a bit?

OK got a response from Brocock and makes sense to me.

For this year the Ranger XR is fitted with a 2” longer barrel and Shroud. Consequently, images reflect when the review/image was taken, with both lengths in the shops. All new rifles supplied worldwide are the longer type.
It has improved the shot count by 10% and also help to make the rifle quieter especially when shot without a silencer, which we felt was desirable given the compact nature of the rifle, and also because in some country’s where Rangers are popular, silencers are prohibited.""

So guys n gals if you buy a new Ranger/ Atomic it should have the longer barrel or its old stock.
