I've been running a DonnyFL Tanto on mine and for the size, it works well at bringing down the db levels. If you want really quiet, a Neil Clague LDC does a better job but sacrifices length by adding a few inches. In regards to magazines, try giving AoA a call to check if they still have them in stock.

I have 2 contours and love them both. The one pictured below is my Elite while the second one is a standard model. Wish I could find some spare magazines.
