Um, so being regulated is what makes the difference between 200, and 250 bar?
That is what I concluded from the manual and through use. The Atomic XR/Ranger XR, are basically Concept XRs in a smaller form. What I like about regulated PCPs is I never worry about getting the full fill. I fill to whatever my SCBAs will give. I refill my SCBAs when they reach 3000 psi. Regulated to me means I'm always in the sweet spot, whether I get a full fill or not.

I got my Crossman Premiers and Premier hollow points today, so I did another round of pellet comparisons. 5 shot groups 35 yards, no wind. Top right is the Crossman Premier hollow points. I was hoping they would do better because for low power situations less pass through energy would be good, but as you can see they didn’t do great. Next to the right was the Premier domes. @L.Leon suggested that they were a great pellet in this gun, and that is proving to be spot on. What a bonus if the most accurate pellet is also way cheap. The next one to the right was the JSB Straton’s. Those shot the best group the other day, good group today, but not as good as last time and not as good as the Crossman Premiers. Then the bottom left is JSB Hades. Good, but not great. The last target, bottom right is a ten shot group with the Crossman Premiers. By the time I got to the last two shots I was down to 100 bar so I think those last two low shots were because it came off the reg.
