For those interested, I recently installed a DonnyFL 25cal Tatsu on my 22 Sniper and the noise level was reduced considerably. This gun was already backyard friendly by most people’s standards but the moderator took it to another level. My gun’s regulator is factory set at 130-140. Speed is ~860 with 18.1 JSB’s. If you have this gun and are on the fence as I was regarding if a moderator was worth the coin and which moderator would be a good choice, I think you will be pleased w the Tatsu. Also, this combo is very accurate - so much so that my rimfires may not see the squirrel woods anytime soon!

Glad to hear it. I have a Koi for my 22 sniper HR. I belive they have similar noise reduction, with differing profiles.

My .22 Sniper hr has a Hugget mini magna that i purchased from a fellow AGN member. This makes the gun extremely quiet. The poi was unaffected by this moderator and pellet impact is all you hear.

I have a sumo for my 22 sniper, pellet impact at 35 yards is about twice as loud as the gun. Also check with chrono to see if I would have velocity loss, and I'm happy to report there were none.

Have owned the Sniper HR .22 since July and I installed a Tatsu from day one and it keeps gun very quiet, a perfect match for the Sniper.
