Post up your thoughts when you get it. Curious as to what fps they are coming out of the box. Regrettably looking for a replacement for my Royale. Had a chance to shoot a 177 and felt like a very solid platform. Maybe a bit on the chunky side, but handled and shouldered well.

Well, the gun is completely stock, nothing has been done . FPS is anywhere from 926 to 877 depending on pellet weight as you can see the string I posted at the beginning. Those were Baracuda Match 10.3 gains I believe. Using the rifle is comfortable not too heavy for me to handle. However with Bipod on it will be too heavy to carry around all day. The balance with rifle alone seems very well thought out. It is my first Brocock though. I too own a 400 Royale in 22 and it's a very solid rifle . I would have to say the cocking effort is the about the same. But the rotary magazine in th Brocock is hands down a way better design with its index/locking mechanism allows for easy loading. Loading it in the breech is really nice too, which uses a ball detent system to lock into potion. Now, the barrel in this rifle is something Intresting but I was told that it use a LOATHER WALTHER BARREL, BUT... in a Polygonal rifling and is supposedly polished also. Its accuracy is very good. I shot indoors at 25yds and it would consistently make a single hole after 5 shots. But of course indoors is a more controlled environment. It's a very nice rifle and on low power setting you can get well over a 100 shots. I lost count lol. But it is an extreme joy to shoot. I also bought during the same week a IMPACT MK2 in .25 and I've been going back and forth shooting them . I have to say I really like the Brocock only cause the Stock feels much more comfortable to me.

Darn I believe you were inquiring about the .22 I'm still getting use to posting on these forums however these are simply my thoughts about this platform. Hopefully it will help others Intrested in it .

So today was kinda nice out so I decided to sit on my bench and give the Rifle some time to break in . Dont know if its needed but the grouping was just amazing minus the wind knocking the pellet around. I was using the JSB HEAVY EXACT PELLETS . I had the setting on lowest power setting . It was in hole with several shots at 35 yards not too bad at all! I'm really happy with this rifle especially the Freakishly long shot count . Filled at 250 bar it dropped to 225 with more than 4 magazines I kinda lost count . But it's simply a high shot count shooter. That is on low setting .

Nice that you are enjoying that sweet Bantam XR. I noticed you have a moderator attached. Do you find it to be loud without it? I had a DonnyFl Tanto on mine but took it off as it’s backyard quiet without and also 5” shorter. Easier to handle while pesting at the dairy.

Yes , i think its a little quieter buy using the moderator. this particular one is a HUGET in .25 it really seems to dampen the sound and of course no issues with cliping or any silly stuff like that. I have fired it without it and it seems to have a little bit of a bark but not too bad. That was on Max power though. i dont recall using it on low power with out moderator hmmmm maybe ill try that tomorrow . Im looking forward to pesting myself out here in Michigan thats if i can find someone out there that needs some help with that. Free target practice is always welcome ;)
