I am just reading this. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I have 3 Brocock “Bantams” if you will. One is .22 hr hp.One is .22xr mag. One is .25xr mag.I too,am a Buckeye. Solid rifles.Great triggers.Built like a tank.I kill chipmunks at 70 yards off a tripod with ligjt breeze and redesign monsters. The newest Brocock magazines with the hinged faceplate is a good magazine ,but a ridiculous overprice. There were some fill port oring problems.2 out of 3 of my BRK’s came with that issue.I believe its under control from factory now.Outside of that,I would recommend these to anyone who likes to hunt.Dont believe people that say these are light guns Dont believe people that say they arent long guns by the time you put the needed 0 db silencer on them.Mine are all long and heavy because they are all high power. I got my sigjts on the Ghost next. You wont go wrong with Brocock. Cheers.

Disliking a gun based on a British name? Only accurate guns are interesting, so a sexy name on an inferior product appeals to who? They could name them, Mud, and they would still be bad-arse, robust and reliable PCPs across their entire line up. But I can see where the name might make some giggle.😜 I know I do, every time I'm smoking a pest or hitting what I aim at consistently without drama, point and shoot.
yep,
"You nailed it" about the Brocock! And made me realize I'm one of those "some giggler's":p

Thanks for all the replies, I retired after 30 years in the Air Force Security Forces so I have a lot of shooting experience, just not air rifles . I am left handed and been reviewing air rifle brands for awhile, from reviews quality and from origin. I like what I see with Brocock name, in the 1500 range. I was stationed at greenham common AFB in England for 2 years in the 80,s. I have a lot of respect for the Englishmen
Thank You for your service . I was in the AF also SAC. I do not own a Brocock but i hear really nothing but good about them , read most everything on here and watch hunting videos . I would not hesitate to buy one . And i just might as my next next gun , the first next gun is already in the works .

I got a Brocock Sniper XR in .177, it has been absolutely reliable, I got about 10,000 pellets through mine and I have never had a problem with anything, every time I use it the rifle function is perfect. The one thing about this rifle is the trigger can only be adjusted Down to about 2 lbs. so if you what a 0.5 lbs trigger pull you will not be able to achieve it.

Regarding the mags, they are spendy but they are solidly built, easy to load, and they look cool. I’ve got the XR Magnum in .25, it’s great to shoot off a bag. I’m a little weak at the moment, recovering from an injury, and so if it’s offhand light work, I’d go ranger or Atomic.
There is a member on AGN that makes 3D printed magazines for Brocock I have a couple of them and they function fine, I will look up his handle and post it later today.

I bought HR 22 used and it had a 6oz trigger which was always firing off when cock. After blowing the breach seal out three times I changed the pull to 18ozs. Now I have an XR with a trigger pull of just under 3lbs. Needless to say, I will be working on that trigger also.
