Broken Beeman

Hi folks,
I have an older Beeman 1.5-5x32 scope that sits on a FWB 124D which doesn’t change magnification when spinning the ring. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

There is a pin that sits in a helical groove that moves the lens back and forth. The pin is out or the tube is loose.

When you take it apart from the eyebell to get at it you are going to loose the nitrogen charge. And you will probably damage some threads in the little screws.

It may be fixable. I'm not sure it's worth the trouble...
