Anyone has any experience with BSA R10 for field target in .177, how does perform? Thanks

I’m very happy with mine. The only pellet I’ve been able to get it to shoot with laser accuracy is the H&N 10.65 Baracuda Match with the 4.50 head (py-p-20 is the PA part number) and I’ve tried dozens. It’s factory stock. The only things I’ve done to it is adjust the triggers’ first stage pull length which is terribly long. But second stage breaks like a potato chip. And I have a single shot loader.
I get 50 shots @ 890fps safely on a fill. Could go 60 but I’d rather not risk it during a match so I top it back off about half way through a match. Reg drops off at 90 bar (Factory setting). Best Fittings in the U.K. sells a CF bottle specifically for the model with no mods required if you just have to get max shot count.

10 shots off of sticks and a camping stool @ 55 yards. Dot is 1-1/2”

I think the R-10 rifle is more than capable as a hunter class FT rig. More realistic a question is HOW WELL DO YOU SHOOT IT ?
