I've been doing some research and was wondering is it worth putting on a HuMa regulater. Will the benefits justify the price. Also does anyone have a link where I could get one.

It is but according to all the reviews it's pretty crummy. But time will tell for now and when I get a chance to chrony.

I've been an owner for some time, BSA R-10 MK2 in .22. I've always wondered why folks were so intent on switching out the regulator. My R-10 is quite accurate and the only time I chronied it I came up with an extreme spread of about 8 and a standard deviation of 2 or 3 or something really low from what I recall. I just remember being so impressed with how well the regulator was doing it's job that I immediately quit pondering the idea of changing it.

Hmm sounds good. Hopefully I can chrony it soon, what bar do you fill to and shoot down to? New to bsa just got mine last week,

I usually fill to 220 bar and shoot down to about 150 bar. How do you like the new BSA so far?

The r10 mk1 regulator is a robert lane( Lane regulators. He worked for BSA before going it on his own) design if I'm not mistaken. I don't think the mk2 is any different. So they can't be that bad right?
As for Huma regs I put one in my air arms last weekend and so far am happy with it. Extreme spread avg under ten with an average SD or 2.5 or so for 170 shots. I would have done a few more full fill strings, but really that just a waist of pellets. If anything seems off with the gun in the future i'll chrony it again but for not it
s a matter of getting my ranging and clicks down for the upcoming field target season.

So far it's been an amazing gun. Outstanding craftsman ship, only problem I'm having is getting my scope aligned, just bought some sportsmatch adjustable rings and my windage is way off when I zero reticle. Guessing it's the rings

I'm thinking you won't know for sure if it's your rings, scope, bore alignment with the breech or wandering fps until you get the chrony. Once you can test for a consistent shot string then look at the other parts.
If it's just your windage(left to right) likely your scope axis is off compared to your bore axis. Vertical stringing is usually variations if speed, but not always. Well, good luck with your rifle, the R10 is a sweet gun when properly set up.
