Sure. Slap three oring of the correct size between the striker and valve stem, use micu lower psi than normal and re"tune" using hammer spring and travel adjustment's. Originally used on rigs with marauder style settings (Crosman did bring us the first 3 way user adjustable from outside w/oit any disasembly airgun) but is used on some others.

The O-rings OD should be the same as the ID of the air tube where the valve stem is. I coated them with silicone grease to help them stay in place. I had to put in a hammer spring with thicker wire to get back to the same velocity I had without the O-rings. Makes sense since the O-rings take some of the hammer force. The hammer throw should be 1.25 to 1.4 turns extended if your O-ring stack is like mine. Small adjustments on the throw make a significant difference. Basically it does not affect power as long as you are OK with a stiffer hammer spring but it increases shot count. It stops the hammer from opening the valve again by bouncing after the first strike. The big effort was returning the gun after putting in the O-rings. Putting them in is easy. I think it was worthwhile but it doesn't dramatically change the gun.
