Bubble in pressure gauge (Vevor DQT-3J)

I searched, but don't see a thread that mentions this issue, so here goes.

I bought a Vevor hand pump through amazon -- it dropshipped from China. I opened the box and unwrapped the pressure gauge. THe gauge is about 60mm in diameter, and inside there is oil (glycerin?) ... which has a 20mm bubble inside.

There is no trace of leakage -- the cardboard packaging is dry and unblemished. No stains.

  • Should I ignore the bubble and use it anyway?
    or
  • Should I return it, since this is a defect/problem?

I’ve never seen one without a bubble.
