Kral Arms budget pcp 1st timer suggestions

so im looking into getting a pcp going to be using this to shoot coons / birds and squirrels mainly. My #1 concern is the whatever i get needs to be quiet .
so far ive looked at a couple brands thinking .25 cal . i want something thats on the more compact side not a bullpup but not a airforce texan . ive looked at alot of the bigger brands like fx/ airforce /aea some others as well hatsan and few more not really sure i want to spend that kind of $ atm. want more of a entry level gun . i do like the air venturi avenge-x classic but with a moderator its a really long setup for what im looking for i follow this youtube hunter guy (fowlers markery and mischief) saw he uses a Kral puncher so i did some research seems to be a decent gun other videos and post i read seems to be pretty accurate for short range shooting .
what i did find and like the look and size of is a Kral puncher jumbo thinking maybe found one that which is like a little over 400$ shipped + would likely do a moderator
any other suggestions let me know im open ears

@thammer, aka Troy Hammer, specializes in Krals….
Here is one he has listed in the classifieds… He works his magic on them and makes them better…

Or a certified slug shooter in 22 cal. They will tune it and tell you what ammo to buy.

If you have the space to safely shoot slugs.

Literally was my exact plan ! I may just have to do this . I have some questions I Want ask him saw he has a new website now https://www.thebestairgun.com/ on some other pages and a few youtubes it's pretty damn crazy he can get those lower priced guns to shoot like he does .

After doing more research it seems the krals shrouds are very weak once u add a moderator if u bump them or drop the gun they can break rather easily and parts are not that easy to come by. Also Looked into the rainson saw a couple youtube reviews on a couple issues they have about not using standard air compressor fittings and couple other things I'm not liking.
Think I've switched my mind on compact setup just do not want to spend 1500$ atm on a good brocock or somthing along those lines .

Thinking I'm going to do the new air venturi avenge-x .25 Prolly do a donnyfl moderator likely a Yokozuna like steve of- AEAC did during his run down on tuning the one he used for his review said it was super quite and throw on a terminador industries barrel harmonics reduction kit and a barrel band . I like the fact you can start with a tube and upgrade to bottle and the ability to switch stocks and I imagine with the modular design setup they will offer more tuning/ upgrade parts eventually and the fact you can shoot slugs and man using jbs pellets wow pretty accurate.found a few videos of people shooting out to 200 yards and easily shooting 100 . Not that I plan on doing that but maybe on a calm day get some buddies and do a little shot off at the deer lease during downtime lol. Think it can all be done for right under 800$ . Minus the scope and compressor.

You will eventually end up at the BRK Brocock level once you’ve gone through your first… It’s all legit. In the long run its less expensive to just go ahead and make your “first”, the PCP you “really” want. Particularly if you already have a purpose for it. Then its all about you performing up to the guns level.

I'm honestly thinking the same thing. A few mods and they seem to be very accurate.
My best advice would be to suggest you just bite the bullet and get something like an FX Wildcat BT. Like L.Leon mentions, you will actually be money ahead if you just get something good from the start. If I could go back in time thats what I would do without hesitation. I ended spending a lot more on budget air rifles then it would cost to buy a new FX. And I have three FXs anyway.

The best is a Gamo Urban for under $300,can fill it with a handpump, it is ambi and pretty accurate, Check out the posts about them.
You do not need to spend a lot of money on a PCP at first, that comes later, or sooner.:p
That was my first, it served very well, lots of 40 and 50 yard chipmunk kills, pigeons, rats, starlings, etc. I regret selling it…

Here’s a fine BRK in .25 in the classifieds…
