Anyone using a Bugbuster for field target pistol shooting? I’m not looking to spend a lot as I will only shoot a handful of matches a year.
Bugbuster for Field Target Pistol?

The bug buster scope has a very thick cross hair. I would go with the UTG swat etched glass reticle scope. Used by a lot of field target pistol shooters. A pistol scope doesn't work very well for pistol field target. Most rest pistol on shooting sticks and use an eye cup or just line up eye till picture is clear. Don

The bugbuster is a great scope, for many reasons, especially close-range, backyard shooting.
But I think you would be disappointed using it for any serious fied target competitions.
Another member recently found another scope, that is very similar, about the same price, and might be even be a little better than the bugbuster.
But again, the bugbuster is probably not something you would want to compete with.

I bought a new offering from the Discovery factory this week to do a little experiment with. And when I say little, I mean it is a little scope at 81/2" long. Discovery HD 2-12X24 SFIR FFP is a gem of a scope for the price. In the daylight it compared on par with it's next biggest brother...
