Building a new FT gun tote. Work in progress.

I’ve been pouring over pictures and ideas on a gun tote for FT. Wanted something compact, lightweight and sturdy. I only need it to carry the gun, ammo, shooting sticks and a 90ci air tank.

I found the one offered by fieldtargets.com It was just what I was looking for. But when I talked to Dick, he said he was swamped for another six weeks making targets. 

So I took that design and not having any metal working capabilities, went to customizing one from wood that fits my needs. I’ll be putting the outriggers on it this weekend (making them removable for transportation) to carry my shooting sticks and tank supports dowels. 

I’ll get more pics up when it’s finished.

I like that, it looks a nice and compact when folded. Now you have to show us the final product all finished and stained.

It looks top heavy to me. I would suggest forget outriggers and do a wider base for your tank and accessories and lower notches for rifle.

Nice idea. Here are a couple of others that I've seen lately.

 The one with the pneumatic tires… I am without words but with lots of questions.

When I did a Google search of that image, it came up with two different types of similar images. 

One was a riding lawnmower, and two, The Lunar Roving Vehicle.... that’s where I remember seeing that vehicle. 

Question though. Do you know if it’s horse drawn or self-propelled? Asking for a friend…
