@shambozzie Interesting. That’s a big difference in holdover from 70 to 100 yards. According your table the bullet drop more than doubles within that 30 yard distance, even while traveling an estimated 874 fps. Thanks for sharing these details.
Yeah that’s crazy lol. Especially for a conical. Seems like something you’d see with a pellet more. Personally I just shoot and go lol. I’m not a numbers guy when it comes to shooting like shambozzie but it’s interesting none the less.

While everyone is about speed and barrels and blah blah blah, my type of fun is shooting a .177 140yds 600fps hitting a steel pail. Anyone who visits needs to hit the pail with something off the wall before they leave. Off the wall meaning a gun not ordinarily shot at 140. Even Rick Rehm had to hit it with a Girandoni.
