Wow, you would really have to mishandle that package a lot to get that much damage. UPS must have a giant rock tumbler that they use before delivery!
Hopefully there won’t be too many bent skirts!
Loose tins are definitely a no no when shipping pellets!

This time of year sucks for shipping. I dropped something off at the local UPS packaged in an envelope. They told me I should box it to keep it from being lost or smashed.

I received my order (20 tins!) with damaged tins also - some moderately damaged, one severely damaged. The outer box was undamaged as far as I can tell. I emailed them yesterday (Friday) near their closing time and have not heard back. I hope to get a reply on Tuesday when they reopen. I feel certain they will make it right, especially since they are an AGN sponsor.

My order of 9 tins arrived today, and only ONE was not dented in any way. Without opening the cans individually, what level of damage is enough to cause you concern? How about these?

FOLLOW UP - I've spoken to the Bullet Central management and they have assured me that all damage reports will be addressed as soon as possible. If you received damaged tins of pellets please email them so they are aware of your damaged pellets. They have a skeleton crew this week due to the holidays. They are great people so don't worry - you will be taken care of.

Mine didn’t look too bad at all. Maybe two small dents in the tins. Box was appropriately sized and packed decent compared to some of your boxes in this thread.

One or two tins ain’t bad.

Ordered on 12/21 and arrived today, 12/28. All the paper packing on top with the ammo at the bottom of the box. Box was in good shape with one tin slightly dented out of 10. Didn’t think I’d be saying this with damage but overall I am pleased. Pyramyd Air has certainly set the standard for packaging in my experience.

Trenier does better than Pyramyd. Every tin gets its own padded envelope from Trenier.

I was one of the people that got damaged pellets from the BC pellet sale. They finally reached out to me after a couple emails and a voice mail to them and agreed to give me a refund. I haven't checked my CC company yet, crossed fingers that the refund went thru. Since then I had ordered pellets from AoA, got them in perfect shape. And yesterday I ordered some more pellets from Trenier.
I do like those black foam pads Pyramid uses. Have orders thousand of pellets from them with zero damage.
I doubt if I will ever order from BC again

I don't know, Pyramyd always comes in the custom cut foam that fits tightly into a box. Nothing is moving in that except the pellets/slugs within the tin, with the foam also providing a cushion from our friendly UPS/USPS/FedEx drivers manhandling.
