Bullpup , semi Bullpup - east vs west

Ok , this is a partisan opinion only. All guns in this comparison all really good guns. So no offense intended, but , as I see it the east rocks this group of guns. Here it is; EAST - Taipan, Edgun, Zbroida , AGT , Kalibrgun , Evanix , SPA. And the West - FX , Daystate, Brocock , Benjamin, AEA , BSA , Air Arms. You all get the idea. While the west gives smooth elegant performance, you pay big on a lot of it. Comparatively the east block guns offers relatively cheap POWER and rugged durability in a simpler designed package. Which to me , earns the advantage.

Being partial to the West, I chose and own the Bantam Sniper semi bull pup. 34.5” of awesome. Out of all the eastern girls you listed SPA, was my only??? I don’t believe they compare to your listed western girls.

Also who said that Kalibrgun, Taipan, Edgun, Vulcan are cheap ? they are all over 1500 $ only Zbroia are about 1000 $

And turkish guns have perfect walnut stocks, thats it, some of theese good barrels, some of these LW

I’m definitely partial to the Eastern Block guns. Own two Kalibrguns & one Taipan. Specially the door nail simple, reliable magazines. Love the high endness of Daystate etc, but then there’s the “little” things.

Back in the day before things changed a bit, I paid $1249 with free shipping for my Taipan 22 long. I felt that was a great value then and still do today. I will have to agree that the Zbroia now represents a great value at less than $1k for the FC. I’ve been debating getting one but can’t find a .177 long. Airgunheaven had some of the “tacticals” for ~$600 but I was concerned about it being hung up at customs like another member did. I haven’t looked into the Turks yet.

Back in the day before things changed a bit, I paid $1249 with free shipping for my Taipan 22 long. I felt that was a great value then and still do today. I will have to agree that the Zbroia now represents a great value at less than $1k for the FC. I’ve been debating getting one but can’t find a .177 long. Sorry, I meant the magazine issues on some of them. I personally don’t think I had indexing issues with mine, but others report it frequently. Changing the O rings was a PITA too. The new mags are pretty cool though, but can’t say how they will perform until they are officially out in the wild. 

My perceived or real issues with the bolt action blowing the O-Ring. (Glad that was either isolated problem or perhaps addressed by the company. 

Also things like a drop dead gorgeous $2000+ Red Wolf who’s stock breaks if you look at it wrong. I have been assured by the owner himself that the gun has been reinforced. 

The other issue is me, not the gun. Great warranty, but I don’t want to ship it X country to get it fixed if needed. I buy local, and my local dealer (GA Airguns) sells Eastern guns.

The East makes more short bullpups than the West. Western bullpups are often longer (though not due to increased barrel length ).

A little bit of loving...? That gun is customized beautifully... out the box? Not so much, my rig does same 1/2” groups at 50, when I do my part and conditions allow, right out the box. So again, Western girls.
