Bullpups vs semi and regular rifles.

That's why I was thinking of a cable system. My Evanix Max Air Bullpup just seems to have a sloppy rod system.
A cable/pully system would GREATLY improve the trigger action.
Not saying it would be cheap to mass produce but you can only go so far with the old "Push it with a stick" design.
Inatall a cable in one of your bullpups and you tell us how it worked.

I only have 5 PCPs and 3 are P35s - bullpups. The others are a Prod and an Avenger. The only one I have not adjusted the trigger on is the Prod. I probably did the most on the Avenger. But all my airguns have good triggers now. I still like the Prod trigger the most but the Avenger is a nice crisp single stage. I cannot make the P35s a single stage without eliminating the safety. So they will stay two stage. But the "first stage" is really just taking the slack out of the trigger. I made it as light as possible and it doesn't bother me at this point. The second stage, the real trigger pull, is now light and crisp. I have to put longer sear adjustment screws in the Avenger and the P35s to get rid of the creep.

In the end, the only difference in my P35s triggers is the light first stage. It is because of the additional mechanism because it is a bullpup. But it isn't a big deal to me. I don't have experience on other guns but if you can adjust the sear engagement you should be able to have a decent trigger, bullpup or traditional. But the bullpups may have to have a first stage, which most airguns seem to have anyway.

bull pups are the way to go, the longer barrel allows for less air to be used, so more shot count, and the fx might have the best trigger which is usually the downfall of a bullpup. not saying you need a long barrel but it is a lot smother in a lot of ways. that being said there is a tool for every job,,, and there is a place in Dallas are of Texas. FT Airguns in lewisville has a store where you can compare every single type of airgun on the market and scopes and accessories of all kinds
You mention this airgun shop often. Are you affiliated with them?

I do not like long rifles (above 40 inches) because I feel them bulky and more difficult to handle.

But there is something that we need to recognize, specially when shooting more powerful rifles:

" It is not the same having the action of the hammer 8 inches ahead of the ear than feel and hear it just in to the ear."

So having a bullpup implies a trade off, you gain a more handle rifle but you loose on comfort when shooting.
The only real difference for me is if the bullpup has any kind of a ping that hasn't been addressed.

What BP you shooting that has such a loud action?

I like, deeply like, Airgun Technology rifles, but look at this configuration:

Short, accurate, a lot of shots per fill, not heavy.... Triple Wow!

With a 480 bottle instead of that oxygen tank, if that gun was mine, all my other guns would be collecting dust in squirrel season.

I do not like when hunting being worried about running out of air.

I buy with the large bottle peace for my personal madness.

When traveling in the road I like to re-fill the tank of the car when it gets to half empty.
