Burris AR-536 Prism Sight 5X Tactical Red Dot Sight @ DVOR $275

Burris AR-536 Prism Sight 5X Tactical Red Dot Sight - Ballistic/CQ Reticle 300210 @ DVOR for $275 + shipping!!

5X mag, 36mm objective, 2.5" - 3.5" eye relief (but it also states that eye relief is 2" - 2.9", 3" - 3.9". I hate product descriptions like this), length 5.75", weight 18.75oz., 20' FOV @ 100yds, 0.33 MOA holdover per click, Ballistic QC reticle (looks like the reticle markings are made to correspond to 5.56 NATO rounds). Reticle illuminates in green or red. Looks like a candidate for a compact quick-acquisition budget scope for use on a Lelya or Leshiy. Also appears to have some weight to it. What do you all think? Anyone use one of these?

Burris AR-536 Prism Sight 5X

5X mag, 36mm objective, 2.5" - 3.5" eye relief (but it also states that eye relief is 2" - 2.9", 3" - 3.9". I hate product descriptions like this), length 5.75", weight 18.75oz., 20' FOV @ 100yds...

Weight wouldn't bother me since it's with a built-in mount.

I was intrigued when I saw your title and find the specs on some of these prismatics interesting but this one doesn't seem to have a wider field of view than some of my LPVO's on 5x. I think the 10x MTC Atom has something like a 32 foot field of view on 10x. But of course the tradeoff is extra short eye relief.

I think if I bought one of these and found the eye relief to be on the shorter end of listed specs I'd be disappointed, especially with a 20' FOV.

Is that reticle made specifically for airguns? (I don't think so but asking only). If mimics the high power battle gun use then it will be useless for airguns.

I was on the Edgun West site this morning and saw this https://www.edgunwest.com/store/optics/item/hornet-3x-prismatic-sight/

Hopefully this helps clear up any doubt or confusion in regards to these sorts of optics for use on airguns. I'd like to hear/read about the experience of shooters that have used them.
