Bushbuck 45 appreciation thread: Post Pictures

You could probably call AOA and ask them. Kip would probably know or could point you in the right direction for the twist rate. I had asked folks on here a while back about real time use of lighter slugs on low power, but the consensus then was that low power was pretty much useless. That just seems odd to me. Why would the manufacturer even provide the low power setting if that were true? I’m hoping you get some more favorable response here.

@lonedave The thread was worth reviving because I’m noticing a resurgence of promotion for these guns. That generally tends to generate some interest, although they never appeared to be wildly popular among big bore shooters on AGN. Whomever obtains more detailed information, I hope they post it in a pertinent Bushbuck thread. I’ve been reading up on these rifles for a few years and only have communicated with a handful of hunters who’ve used them. I’ve only spoken to one Bushbuck owner in person.

I really like the look of walnut carbine and have held a couple at AOA. They balance very nice and the weight is not bad, but I just haven’t read enough good about the carbine to push me to spend that kind of money on one. The longer Bushbuck seems to work well for people, but I just can’t get over the weight of it (and other airguns in that weight class).
