Butt plate for diy stock

While putting the finishing touches on my stock I'm cutting the butt just like the original. Where can I find an aluminum butt hook that will fit this stock? Every one I ever seen was out of stock. Maybe they're steel and not aluminum idk. Are these butt shapes all the same on these type rifles?
The only ones I see available are the plastic or some type of rubber printed ones. Perhaps a 3 D printer guy

on this site can make me one?

There are a few 3D printed ones available, just put it out there in the classifieds for someone who prints them and they could fit one pretty well.

Do you actually need a butt "hook" as used in FT? IF so the UK maybe it?
Morgan is still in business if you just want the metal against the stock. A belt sander will size/shape one to fit.

I just thought the hook looks cool don't need one at all. And those morgan plates are stunning, I might go that route, I'm gonna get in touch with Morgan, if he responds he'd be the only one. Thanks

I have bisley adjustable but pads on most of my guns you will have to do a bit of shaping to them but they are a soft rubber that grips the shoulder well and can be adjusted vertically

That's four good suggestions. I bought a Morgan for 74 and I'm gonna buy a creedmore hook those are 199. I'll see which one gets here quickest and I'll have a spare for the next stock, a laminated version I'll be working on soon. Thanks.

I don't know the size's of the MEC's. How do we determine that? I could ask creedmore I reckon! They say they fit all match rifles! Those look pretty damn big compared to what I have. 120 mm by 38 mm is all the room I have.

I think the mec you have pictured will work. I have 5" and 1 1/2" at the thick portion. The plywood is temporary so I don't round over the Cocobolo stock. See pic how wide is the mec? If it flares out at the bottom of my stock it might not fit

The 15/16'' mec might flare out at the bottom edge but Im going with both. Simple equation, I'll have more than one lone rifle and stock and will need multiple butt plates. Thanks

I think they’re available in Canada.

Saw one on Ebay by Nikonos, but I think he doesn’t have one in stock right now.

He also had photos of the measurements the last time I saw it.

I seen those Gehmann, they're not in stock, Same price as a Morgan. Morgan has what you need to feed the Dragon and ships out quick. I imagine he sells quite a few.
