Buying first PCP and wanting yellow stock

As the title says I'll be buying my first pcp rifle and was really hoping to buy a gun with a yellow stock. I'm aware of the Crown Yellow jacket but $2,000 is out of my price range (have a $1,000 budget for rifle) and it doesn't appear that there are any other factory options available for a yellow stocked rifle. Any suggestions? Also any suggestions on what rifle to buy. The gun will never be shot offhand, just using a bench and rest and used primarily for target and small pest control around my farmette. I was leaning more towards a Mary Derek with a Lothar barrel but am still in the research and reading stage of decision making. I'm color blind so any time I can buy a something that is yellow I tend to do so because it's a one of the most colors that I can see well. Thanks!

Vinyl wrap the stock. I've done three of mine. If you look around, there are many different companies offering from "just" basic yellow to various different patterns with yellow as the main color.

first id go over to boyds gunstocks and look at their color options ... not every color for certain models will show up on their viewer, so look around at various guns until you find one that will show up so you can browse colors, which are the same for all models ... check out the 'coyote' and see what you think, it gives a great contrast anyway .. if you find one that agrees with you then id think about a marauder in .22 .. just get the cheapest one because youll be replacing the stock and can probably sell the stock for a few bucks to defray the cost if a boyds stock even more ... but thats how id to it ..it will produce a very nice bench worthy gun for ya ... and theres plenty of aftermarket support for the mrod to so you could build it out even more later ...

Thanks for all the input. It appears that after checking out Boyds website and giving them a call they don't offer the yellow laminate stocks any more. No luck with Richard Microfit either. It's looking like my only option would be a vinyl wrap or hydro dipping. I really would prefer a yellow laminate stock and if that isn't available I might just skip the yellow color altogether. I've been looking at the Benjamin Marauder regulated.22 with a Lothar barrel and also the Kratos in .22, anybody have experience with those 2 rifles? Does one have a better trigger? I know the Kratos is new to the market and doesn't have much in the aftermarket options but how does it stack up to a regulated Marauder?

I've got a Kratos and a Semi Auto Marauder (SAM) with wood stock (Beech?) I realize it's not exactly the comparison you are looking for, but;

I like the Kratos a WHOLE LOT more.

- I really like the trigger and sidelever on the Kratos.

- It is much lighter than the my SAM (SAM is easily a pound heavier than advertised)

- The Kratos balances better than the SAM.

- Both are in .22, and obviously I get a lot more shots per fill out of the Kratos.

- the SAM is moderated, but I am not seeing that being a huge advantage for consistency.

- I don't have a barrel band on either, (yet) but on the SAM I am having a lot of trouble with changing POI,. on the Kratos, I've set the scope once and never had to touch it.

- Kratos stock is gorgeous walnut

- Kratos has adjustable cheek piece.
