Buying from the GX website

Bill over at Target Forge is very helpful, located in the U.S., and offers a 10% military discount.
Lots of parts, and he is GX factory trained as well.

Yeah, no thanks. And no, he is NOT GX "factory trained". He is just an affiliate that badmouths GX on the side after visiting them one time. Total douche, IMO.

Thanks for the BB sports info. Haven’t heard of that site. They stock a lot of parts? Just don’t see much as far as gx on the site other than refurb cs2 which you can get directly from gx brand new for 50 bucks more.
Your best bet until their site is really up and going is to call them. Pretty much anything for the GX compressors they have (even if not on the site)

They also sell some on Ebay.
Until their building is done, FFL applied for and the physical store going, the website might be a back burner thing.

The website needed to be put up quickly due to a couple videos being done, one by Airgun Revisions with Rick Rehm and a video from the Great Midwest airgun show back in June.

Use their affiliate link for GXpump website, https://gxpumpofficial.com/?ref=BBSGLLC and you'll have better access to BBSGLLC for customer service as well as what you will receive from GX.

Correct me if I am wrong, but are you (1900colt) and the ebay seller BBSGLLC , and the GX affiliate BBSGLLC all the same person?
IF so, why hide behind the term "THEIR" ?

Well, if you went to the website there are 2 of us that operate BBSGLLC. It's not 100% mine and it's also an LLC. It is its own business and entity now and "their" refers to its employees/owners as a group.

I'm really not sure why you are implying I'm "hiding" behind anything?

Just a suggestion 1900Colt,

Buying anything should include HONESTY AND TRANSPARENCY, and a compressor is certainly no different.

1900colt / BBSGLLC.COM / GXPUMPOFFICIAL.com/ BBSGLLC ...ALL ARE THE SAME.

So everytime 1900colt "recommends" one of these other buisness's, 1900Colt is DECEIVINGLY recommending himself, ...without saying so.

And by failing to mention your relationship with your "highly recommended" 3rd party suggestions, you are misleading customers.

Your not being clear, honest or transparent, when you deceive and deliberately mislead others with your 3rd party recommendation tactics.

I dont believe that anyone wants to be deceived or mislead, especially when it comes to a compressor.

A.G.N. MEMBERS AND PROSPECTIVE COMPRESSOR CUSTOMERS HERE, ALL DESERVE CLARIETY, HONESTY AND TRANSPARENCY.

Aproximately 33% of the posts in this thread alone, are YOU promoting YOURSELF..... (Your the best, your the cheapest, your web site has everything, you sell on ebay, you have largest selection, bla, bla, bla.).

The O.P. of this very thread, just recently purchased a brand new GX compressor, and I believe, it was NOT purchased from you.

Ouch!

I believe that generally speaking, consumers are willing to pay a little extra, and would much prefer to purchase from sellers that are honest, and humble, as opposed to a seller that constantly reminds us how great they are, especially when they are deliberately deceitful.

Good luck.

I'm guessing you really don't understand the difference between working for a business entity with more then one owner/employee.

I don't work for GX . I work for BBSGLLC, which I'm part owner of.

I'm an employee of the business. You are looking for deception, that would be if I were to completely ignore the business and act as if I'm a one man band. That would be deception and a lie. It's NOT my website, it's n not MY affiliate link, etc... it's BB Sporting Goods. I don't make money from that link, the shop does, I don't own the website, the shop does.

TF is a one person business as far as I know, so he would use I, me, mine, etc...

Now how would you like to call the shop, and expect just me to answer and find someone else answering the phone line that's posted or someone else answering the emails (which does happen) you wouldn't find that deception? I know I sure would.

I don't make money from direct sales... since that also seems to be your concern. So, it really does not matter to me where you buy your products, TF, GX directly, or the dreaded deceptive BB Sporting Goods 🙄...What matters is that you get a quality item and can get questions answered or service if you need it.

BTW 1900colt has been my online PERSONAL user ID on a lot of forums for almost 20 years.

Google "1900colt" and you'll see that

I'll admit that when I first read some of Airgun Al's posts in this thread, I thought he was being a bit hard on you. But his longer post before your response above made a lot of sense. And after your response - well, all I can say is that he is absolutely right (except maybe a few "I / my" items in it should be "we/our").

I have worked for some large corporations over the years, and whenever I communicated with anyone about the products involved outside of work I ALWAYS disclosed that I was affiliated with that company. I too was never in a situation where I got any kind of reward or incentive based on what decisions that person took (much more true in a large company than a small one, by the way - every sale/customer matters to smaller companies). Once I made that disclosure, I would use "we/our" in any reference to the products and services involved - never "they" or anything like that, unless talking about a specific group that I might have suggested the person contact. And everyone I know with integrity did (and does) the exact same thing.

Furthermore, if you had written your comment more like Airgun Al did in your original post it probably would be more effective in terms of "making a sale" - most prefer to deal with somebody they can communicate with directly, rather than the way you portrayed it (more of "I know of them and boy, they are great", with too many details that don't add up). At least it would matter to me.

Take this however you want . . . I offer it up just as impartial advice. But Airgun Al is absolutely correct that honesty matters, and even the appearance of deceit can be a big turn off. Just don't take this like a politician would, and start just faking honesty. Actual be honest for its own sake - it works best. There is a reason the saying is "honesty is the best policy."

Peace out.

I would agree the we/our would be far more appropriate then the I, me, mine..etc. or even the "They/ them" in some instances.

But at the end of it all, it's you the buyer that can decide where you want to spend your money.

Have fun, and enjoy the hobby!

Youz guys and all your pronouns, sheesh!!

At the end of the day, I can say that I have worked directly with GX, as well as BBSGLLC, and have been well taken care of, with solid answers to my questions and prompt shipping when I needed something; of course, "prompt shipping" from China has to be taken with a grain of salt, obviously. (The main thing being the time difference between here and China; sometimes it takes 2-3 days to get a response from GX, whereas BBSG answers within an hour or two typically.)

Also, while I have not looked into it here, I'd imagine this forum, like many others today, have rules against advertising/selling/trading outside of the selling forum.

You sound bitter.
Hope all is well!
Not bitter at all. But since I am the one earning my money, I get to choose where I spend it, and to part with it to an egotistical douchebag that tries to make himself sound smarter than the fine folks at GX (and to disparage their difficulties communicating in Engrish), who were nice enough to offer him an affiliate with their brand doesn't set well with me. Maybe that's just me.

I got my compressor today. I ordered it from the GX Official website Monday evening. I never got an order confirmation email, tracking number, etc. and was a little concerned but one of the posters above had the same experience and got his pump. I had kind of forgot about it but tonight I remembered and got on the GX website to see if I could find a way to see if it shipped. There is a way to do so on their website but you need your order number and I did not write that down or screenshot/shoot(?) it. While trying to figure this out my dogs were barking at something in the backyard so I got up to make sure it wasn’t a rattlesnake. It was a toad. I picked the toad up and walked thru the house to the front porch to set it free and there was my pump. So far I took it out of the box so I could charge the battery. I will say it is small. Heavy for its size, but small. It looked bigger in the YouTube reviews I watched. It will be perfect for taking to deer camp, etc. to fill rifles for mid-day entertainment which is why I bought it. Hopefully it will hold together. I don’t plan to do any kind of review unless it turns out to be junk. I started this post to see if ordering off the GX Official website is legit as the prices are quite a bit cheaper and we are dealing with the Chinese after all. From what I can tell it’s legit. You just won’t get any kind of confirmation email so when you place your order screenshot/shoot the order confirmation in case you need it. With your order number and email address you can track your order (or at least I think you can as it wouldn’t work with just my email address without the order number so I couldn’t try it out).
