FX C1 to long

I wanted to exhaust all fyi on this site before i made another move. Plus the info you just gave me on how Utah Air is good at listening sounds like i have decided where my next purchase is going to be with. Revoman Its hard to purchase when you know it might have to be returned if does not work! Because i am one guy you don't want to tell me i have to eat a 200$ gun part because it was assembled already, Because we all know you have to assemble to get to that C1 issue. So i will call ahead and explain before my purchase. Because a mans word means something to me. Hell i built a business on that. Thx again for your time Rev!

Please show a pic(pics) of the c1 being measured off of the front of the block, showing the dimension, and a pic of the end of valve rod fully pushed in at the mag slot.

There is a video put out by Newman Buck on the required measurement of the C1 to the front of block, and he said the earlier mk1, MK2 impacts did better on X.XXmm while the M3’s performed best on X.XXmm’s instead. He made the video for his web business capefearairguns or 910airguns.com
just seen your text give me a bit ill find them Ill be happy to do that for you Bigragu (y)

Sorry it took so long Bigragu I know guns I don't know computers I finally figured how to send pics :ROFLMAO: IMG_0215.JPEGIMG_3372.JPG #1 is before any modifications I did with permission from Huma Air support. IMG_0351.JPG #2 is my old IMG_0359.JPG #3 is after modification this is as close as could get to the 6/6.5 mm with the new, sorry could not find any pics before modifications which both new kits valve rods measured in the high side of 9mms IMG_0419.JPG #4 if you measure your valve guide it will be much larger than then my old one here, try shoving that in a frame that excepted my measurements its not going to happen trust me. unless you spread your frame to fit it. WHY😤 its suppose to fit its newIMG_3372.JPG #6 Is( mine vs new) No room for improvement there! Is it my friend.

Thx for the FYI Mike! Don't for one minute think I didn't enjoy are conversations. With all the firearm schooling I have, and I could tell Marc over at HumaAir was very knowledgeable when he gave me the ok to start modifying with out worry on returning it for a refund if it did not solve it. The bottom line we came to was within the C! together so that's where I started my modifications. with no avail 😤 the only thing I could not modify is if you look there is a slight shoulder before the threads on the new valve rods compared to my old one. If that's it I don't know why because those are brand new kits. So that's why I just asked a question to you real PCP masters, because honest i am virgin in your PCP world. But this rifle has gave me ton of pleasure for years until one day i was sighting in and the accuracy and air pressure fell off so i figure lets upgrade instead of just learning to put seals in. Thx again Mike (good name I am David Michael) I worked all over parts of C.A in the winters here! Thx again truly

David!

I was simply 'turning' it over to a much more knowledgeable person. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
The AGN knowledge base is vast and I am but a rookie compared to most here, but I do enjoy learning like you do. Almost ALL of my air gun knowledge has come from this fine community, and I am grateful for that.
I'm pretty damn certain that you will attain a great amount of knowledge and be enabled to pass it along.

I toke apart my MK2 so many times for any kind of mods and upgrades I can do it now with closed eyes... basically that is not an MK2 anymore but somewhere M3.5 ?
My take on it.... I know that the 6.0-6.5 mm is a ballpark (only) instruction for new mechanics, the stack up tolerance is the important and must be in front of eyes.
I know that if your C1 is sticking out longer (9mm instead of 6.5mm) the Valve Adjaster knob shall be backed out longer for about same amount (Valve Spring longer for a same amount again) ... So the Valve tuning won't happen let say between 2nd and 3rd line but about 6th line.
All these assuming the Valve poppet sitting properly (cross check the Rear Power Block). But then the Valve Adjuster knob will hit the air tank... so this operation needs some improvising.
This what I would do on my gun without any extra excitements and loosing time chasing tales, but again I cannot advise you if this is your first luve with the FX Plenum and Valve.... ;)
