Results CAGC Arpil 27th Saturday Field Target and Bench Rest matches (Lebanon CT)

Match Date: April 27th, Saturday
Rifle Match – 64 shot – 32 target – 8 lanes. Average distance approximately +35 yards. Two shots per target – 8 shots per lane. 8 min time limit.
Pistol Match – 32 shots – 16 target – 8 lanes. 10-35 yards. 1/2”-1 1/2” KZ. Two shots per target. 4 shots per lane. 4 min time limit.
The following AAFTA classes and rules will be used:
PCP – Combined Hunter-Unlimited*, Open, WFTF
Piston – Combined WFTF-Open-Unlimited*, Hunter
*Unlimited Class (attached bipods, tripods, range finders are allowed)
Pistol – Combined Hands, Limited & Hunter
10:00 AM Sign Up/Open Practice
11:00 AM Shooter's Meeting/Match start
Entry fee: $15 Adults, $5 Juniors or CAG members
Must sign a waiver/release of liability form. Eye protection is required.
Loaner air rifle available (Crosman Custom Shop Marauder – Mueller 8-32×44 scope for Hunter (sticks
included) or Open Class PCP)
Highly recommend bringing your own folding chair and wearing waterproof boots
4500 psi 75 cu. ft. air tank will be available for PCP shooters.

Field Target it is. For anyone wondering which to choose you can decide on the way because both event are 10min from each other.

Hm. I might have to do the same. My Anschutz is comibg in friday and I dont know if I'll have the time to sight it in.

OK, Leo and John, that's a good start. That mean as of now we have 4-5 BR shooters for the morning (hopefully a few more will show). We will try to start around 10:00 to 10:30 which should give time for your FT match. May just do one match depending on interest and numbers for 2nd match.

Remember to bring a shooting bench (table) and seat, front and rear rests, and wind flags if you have them. Mark has the target holders.

....and we will need to keep an eye on the weather. Right now the forecast is looking like rain Sat morning. If that holds true we will cancel the BR since we have no cover for the equipment. Will post on this thread with update on Friday with update. Fingers crossed!

Sorry guys I'm very confused about what matches are being held and when. They both start at 11am at different properties? I'm only down for the FT match as the TX is my only rifle. Maybe I'm dense, but please spell out the schedule and location for each match tomorrow.

Ron and Vasyl will be running the FT match. It starts at 11. Leo and I will be there between 11:30/12. You can start at 11, or wait for us to show up. Your choice.

Hi guys, sorry for any confusion but let me clear it up by saying we are cancelling the BR for tomorrow. We just don’t have the numbers and the weather is too iffy for the equipment. The FT match is still on as far as I know. Leo is in charge.
