Caiman vs Dreamline Pup

...the Daystate is 36.5" long by itself and weights .7 lbs more than the Caiman which is what I was trying to get away from in the first place...

...with a Shogun the Caiman is 30.75"...I might not notice the ping so much if I removed that... (grin)

...I really like the way this gun shoots so far..

..the bolt does not feed as smoothly as the bolt on the "Benjamin" Cayden but methinks that is partly because it has that CZ barrel with a tight chamber rather than the Kral barrel...(???)...

...I am still glad I got the Caiman rather than the 'X...the 'X would be well over the "bullpup spec" with my equipment...the Caiman/Shogun only slightly exceeds them...

...it is pretty close to spot on...I like having Shogun level sound reduction...I might try removing the factory baffles as suggested and try it like that...

...the ping thing was an offensive surprise I should have been able to well imagine but methinks we shall get over it in light of the gun's over all attributes...

...Utah does not seem so comfortable aboot returns anyway...that is one aspect aboot dealing with a place like Pyramid...TINSTAAFL...LoL...

Overall length - Yesterday, I installed a two segment Huma suppressor and it's still short and much quieter than with the factory baffles and slightly quieter than the longer, 0dB suppressor. I tried the 0dB suppressor. It wasn't bad, but then found the unused Huma (bought for another gun). It's the same diameter as the sleeve on the Caiman, and shorter than the 0dB.

Currently, no factory baffles, and the Huma suppressor, I like it. The only problem, is yeah, it makes the mechanical sounds (more than just a "ping") from the receiver more obvious ! Not a big deal, to me anyway.

...I like it now....I reach for it rather than the Cayden...it is vastly more handy...with the Shogun attached it feels completely "normal"...

...I am very glad I didn't go for that fx power pup contraption...the Caiman is powerful enough...

...but I don't much like loading the magazines...

...that issue emerged as the ping thing became moot...don't hear it so much when shooting squirrels...

...I like really how it shoots...and I like how I shoot it...I am finding it very easy to hold...I was lucky to find it fits me well...

...once ah figgers out how to carry it we will like it more...

...don't really like the trigger but as noted it is no worse than the AP16...

...not match grade but acceptable...the rear mounted safety is not a problem for me and I have come to actually like the location...

...much like the Cayden it didn't turn out to be exactly what I wanted but now I want it...

...it is a good bit closer to what I wanted, whatever that is...LoL...

Would you say theres sufficient room between the buttpad and curve at the rear of the stock to mount a sling swivel?
