Caldwell Stinger .

Hey guys....You guys that have the Caldwell Stinger gun rest , would you say Its all weather ? My rang Is a fare walk from my house so lugging my guns and a rest backwards and forwards would be a pain In the a$$ , so Im thinking If the Stinger was all weather I could leave It on my gun table and not worry about It . They are $99 on Amazon right now seems like a good deal .

anything nice left outside wont be nice for long ... maybe look at a garden wagon, pneumatic tires etc .. you could pull it with an atv or a lawn tractor, if you dont have those, you can find okd lawn tractors that run with a bad deck for cheap locally, take the deck off and presto, perfect setup ..

Consider a cheap grill cover for the whole table. Keeps it dry so you are ready to shoot.

Definitely not all weather, but a cover should work.

It's not all weather. Your screws will show rust first.

Get the precision turret rest by Caldwell instead. It doubles as a gun service vise as well. More adjustability features also

when camping we used to use a small tarp to cover the table at night or rainy , used woodworking spring clamps to hold in place . kind of like large clothes pins . https://www.harborfreight.com/2-12-in-nylon-spring-clamp-69290.html

I agree with the Caldwell Precision Turret suggestion - its a better, more flexible option than the Stinger - with not that much difference in price.

Thanks for the input guys....I already Have the turret rest which Is great but I didn't want to leave that out side In all weathers , so maybe I just stick with that .

If you're shooting a classic rifle stock. If a bullpup or impact style, you'll find the rear is too low and the front too high. I have one and there has to be something better!
