California central coast ground squirrel hunting

Hello ive been wanting to go ground squirrel hunting with my dad.Is there any blm land in the central coast i can do this? I just got the onx app just confusing to use.Im in monterey county.

Been a while but I've hunted Los Padres National forest and Fort Hunter Ligget...has to be non-lead projectiles nowadays.

There is a paintball game range in your area that lets airgunners shoot ground squirrels for free. I don't know the name of the range, so do a through search on AGN. The airgun range owner posted his free offer a few times on AGN.

It's down in Hollister, you can to go the Corbin factory afterwards, they've got a GREAT cafe.
