Calling it quits from Edgun

Im what you might have called an Edgun fanatic until now. I’ve owned more Edguns than should be allowed. I’m here to share a truly negative experience that literally made me get rid of all my Leshiy 2s and want never ever to deal with Edgun for any reason again.
Roughly a month or two ago I decided to buy the 9mm L2 with the 450mm barrel. This wasn’t my 1st L2 9. I had one few months ago but decided to sell it because it was too long but I really missed having one after selling so I decided to buy one again. Took a lot of selling things off I shouldn’t have but we made it happen.
Upon arrival and testing I noticed every once in a while the gun wouldn’t fire. I knew it was a cycling issue. No problem, push the ammo in more. Same issue kept happening. I tried different ammos (Hades, JSB 81, FX 81) same issues.
I called Edgun west and we decided I bring the gun down for them to test it. I drove down and dropped the gun off. They claim they fired 200 rounds without a failure. I call that bull because every other magazine fails on me. They call it “user error” I call that “bullpoop” I own 4 other L2s no issues ever. It’s not user error. They walked me through the proper pellet seating procedure and I was certain it was ok once I knew the song and dance.
Two days ago I decided to put the gun to its paces and run some pellets. Guess what? Same issues happening at the same rate as before even following proper loading procedure. I called and let them know the gun is acting up As before even following proper procedure. once again they use the “user error” card. I’m no rookie at Edguns and they know this. I’m not one to fight, yell but at this point I was kinda upset but I stayed professional. He said to bring the gun down. at this point i called quits on Edgun. my life is too crazy to keep going back and forth on a gun that should just work.
I figured these guys know I’m a huge supporter of Edgun west and products yet they’re giving me the runaround and basically calling me an idiot for not knowing how to use their product.
I wanted to just trade the gun in for something else but seems like they just wanted to work on a flawed gun instead so a return or trade wasn’t really accepted.
I listed the gun as a parts gun and sold it to someone who is going to experiment. Irrational? Yes. Did i feel better? Yes. I also decided to quit Edguns all together by trading in all of them at AOA (look out for used Edguns in awesome condition). I’m switching to BRK. AOA has been awesome to me. Thinking about this it kinda matches up with other people’s negative experiences with Edgun west. I’m no idiot I’ve been a tech for years and know never call it “user error” because when someone complains about something there’s something wrong especially if the person is familiar with the product. Don’t treat people like youre better then they are you’re just selling BB guns. Now you know
I did keep the Classic. It’s simple

PS HATSAN OFFERS BETTER SERVICE

You just learned what a lot of us have known for a long time. At least you are within driving distance-most of us are not. I am sorry for your experience, but not surprised. On a bright note, there are a lot of good guns out there for much less money with excellent parts, service, and an extensive knowledge base.

Appreciate the feedback. Sometimes I feel like I do irrational things but man did it feel great quitting. I love the Edguns but like I always say. it’s not just the gun it’s the whole experience. I wish we had a dealer like Edgun Spain here.

Yeah, Brian can be a bit...tough to deal with, sometimes.
I've only dealt with in emails and on the phone, never in person.

My first PCP gun, Lelya 2 is still running well.
