Calling someone out??!

IMHO calling someone out because of safety or ethics issues is valid on AGN. Calling a poster out on accuracy claims, experience shooting, equipment choice. Isn't. If you disagree with a posters' advice to another forum member it's valid. Insults and ganging up on a poster are not. You could always PM the person asking for advice and give them yours. No conflict or hard feelings necessary. What we have in common is that we all like to shoot. There's room for everyone's point of view.

Like most mothers would say...
If you can't say something nice?

Ethics seems to have morphed over a few generations, so its prolly dubious even to question them here. I do feel badmouthing another airgunners choice of guns is totally wrong, and reveals to badmouther as ignorant.

Something I've learned on the interweb. You gotta have thick skin. I personally don't care what others think of me on the forums I'm on. The trolls and jerks I write off. If you don't let them get to you they go away. I have seen this in my time here more than once.

The guys that harrass and bullie are Chickens×*^×s they should be the ones that are gone.

Completely agree, the hide member button works darn well also.

It's all relative to what's been posted.

Should someone insist in posting dangerous claptrap, publicly "calling them out" is warranted.

Should someone make an inaccurate claim, a diplomatic correction, should be the first course of action.

Regards Bulls#17 boasts, I refer to ignore, I would rather not waste more of my time, having already wasted time reading it in the first place, some folk just like a rise, ignore them and they may go quite.

I hope i will soon post a lot of nice groups on my Maverick, and i do have a range finder so i know the distance i shoot.

But i am not going to invest in scope cameras and what not to document my shooting, people will have to make do with however many of my 4 action cameras i deploy, and then my word.

And if someone call me out, please be Danish, and say where i have to come to prove i am no BS artist, and i will do that as i am big on that honor thing.

My one friend say i am born at least 500 years too late and a couple 1000 KM too far north due to my liking for hot weather.

I am the kind of guy that is someone are verbally violating a person at the cash register in a store, or maybe your wife or child on the street, i will immediately be in their face and i will not be holding back on my manners, even if i then might have to excuse myself afterwards cuz after all there are things you should not do or say in front of people, just some times you have to as those people often only understand that.

i call it like i see it with no filter lol .. people take it the wrong way every time i know, whatever .. i see it in every sport and hobby, manufacturers and fanboys pushing nothing but top of the line expensive stuff and everyone else is pushed out, shamed, and told to shutup .. i usually do lol .. when im done .. got a mrod to build .. till then ..

You don't even know why he is not here. I've spent 20 years in and out of airgun forums. It's normal for most airgunners. Why are you trying to start a fight and claim these guys were bullying him?
