I just bought one of those for $299 cuz I thought it was a good deal in that price range. Now you go and show me a lower price! Soo... sad am I. Tears running down my cheeks emoji. ;^) I think it's a very decent scope for the $299 the lower price is even better.

Glass is fairly clear and I like the reticle allot. The turrets are slightly mushy but the clicks are solid and it will focus down to ten yards. Although remember at the lowest 8.5 power the field of view suffers at closer ranges. It's a pretty long scope and will fit on my CZ 452 well without removing the rear sight.

  1. Yo would have told you that Hawke was hot garbage and to just buy an Alpha 6. I say it’s not a bad deal and you can return it if you don’t like it. Just don’t mount it before you decide if you want to keep it or not. Personally for under $300 I would look at something in the Discovery brand.

Yup that is exactly what Yo would say. ;^)

I had one of those Alph6 scopes, bought it cuz of Yo, much like the Vector Veyron it was. The reticle is way to thin and gets very hard to see at all around six or eight power. Mine was slightly damaged anyway so I sent it back for a refund as I did not need another scope with that thin of a reticle.

I also purchased one of the Alpha 6 scopes based on all the hype from YoOdoyle. The scope had $200 glass and 10 cent turrets. It tracked like a bloodhound with a really bad case of COVID. It was extremely difficult to get sighted in and I had parallax issues as well so I returned mine also. I do think the scope I received was returned before. The packing was just thrown in the box and it had some minor scratches on it.

For what it's worth. I have the Hawke 17110 Sidwinder 6.5-20 with the 1/2 Mil reticle. I think that is my favorite reticle that I have used for air guns. The graduations are spaced conveniently and there is no christmas tree. I don't care for them. The glass is not top quality but very usable. Using the side parallax wheel to range with works pretty good, again not the best. But for a inexpensive scope I think its a good scope. I still have the 17110 on my Wolverine. It is a large scope and it is not a feather weight.

LOL! Thanks. I needed that!

I’m glad someone thought it was funny because I sure did. Cyclops Joe Rhea better not use it in one of his videos to describe a bad scope because I just trademarked that phrase. Lol.
