I think adding a badge beneath a sponsor‘s AGN handle indicating that a business or person is an active AGN sponsor would be helpful for multiple reasons. Maybe make it a green badge that simply says “Sponsor.” It can be similar to the “Dealer” badge.
First, it would let the community know that this entity is an active sponsor. Once a sponsor is no longer a paying sponsor, opt to become inactive, or if they are in bad standing, I haven’t seen anything that alerts the community of a change. It would be good to know.
Second, when an AGN sponsor (or their online representative) interacts with the community in threads, knowing they‘re an active sponsor should make accessing their webpage easier by either knowing that they have a banner and finding it or maybe linking members to their AGN banner or site via their profile. Info within a profile seems easy enough to access by simply clicking an AGN member’s handle. I figured linking the banner to their profile would provide the same benefit as clicking the banner, so it isn’t funneling traffic to their site while going around AGN. Anyhow, just a thought.
