Can a barrel just go bad?

Here is how she currently sits, with the homemade moderator. An NP trail baffle, a 1/2" washer, and a piece of grey pvc. Cost like 15 bucks to make and its just as quiet as my Koi. I use it for testing mainly.

OK, swapped the pistol barrel back on and tried some cphp at 20 feet in the basement. Same setup, tethered on a shooting rest.

10 shot group

I think I'm getting somewhere.

Tried a 10 shot group of jsb 18s. Had one flyer, but I didn't check skirts just grabbed from the tin and filled the mag.

This is a HUGE improvement.

Losing the light, but I got set up again outside real quick and shot a few quick groups with jsb 18s at 25 yards.

Nothing super special, but compared to before it's at least usable.

First 10 shots

I think it'll settle down after another few 100 rounds. I think I may have it fixed. I will touch it up again with the next cleaning.

I also Noticed if I lean on the gun while in the rest, it seems to flex the tube or something and it definitely effects POI.

Thanks for chiming in everyone!

Oh...

Here's how the gun looks with the shorter barrel. It's just primered right now, until I figure our what I'm doing for the finish. The accuracy issue arose and slowed my down on the looks department.
