If you want to swap calibers then the Ghost is your platform. The Atomic was never advertised or touted as a multi caliber gun…I have an Atomic in .22. I asked AOA for a caliber change kit to .177 and they said there is none, and that it would be more cost effective to buy another gun.
Ranger/ Atomic isn’t designed to change Caliber’s. If You want caliber change there’s other optionsI have an Atomic in .22. I asked AOA for a caliber change kit to .177 and they said there is none, and that it would be more cost effective to buy another gun.
On my Ghost the PW allows repeatable HS settings to give a certain bandwidth of power. The same is somewhat achieved on my Atomic and Pathfinder via the TP adjuster. I haven’t had the need to adjust the HS on either one. With the Ghost? Am definitely playing with the PW…I believe the Atomic pistol can be fitted with an external hammer spring adjuster. I have seen this on some ytube videos. That is a very nice feature. Adjusting the hammer spring tension on the Pathfinder and or ranger is a pain in the butt. And unless you spend time with your caliper is it hard to set. It is the one thing I really dislike about the guns. If anyone is interested I have the measurements on my guns with FPS and pellet weight.
You are correct the same “amount of air” is used regardless of TP setting…Yes, but if you take it apart you can see the nylon set screws which really should be loosened and then tightened again after the adjustment. Otherwise you will get movement. As I understand the TP knob it really does not change the amount of air that is used from the regulator? I think it just changes the port diameter which means the rest of the air is wasted? At least that is what AOA is telling me?
