Can anyone help me source the connectos I need for my Sperian 30 min SCBA bottle?

I was recently gifted a 30 min Sperian 4500PSI SCBA bottle and I am clueless about which connectors from the bottle I need to:

1. Connect to the bottle to fill my PCP rifle with a foster connection.

2. Connect to the bottle then connect to my compressor to fill the bottle.

Could anyone please help?

If you don't want to spend big bucks go to ebay & search cga347 fill adapters. Using mine (3 of them) for 7ish years with nary a problem.

Ding ding ding we have a winner! About 40 bucks for both on evilbay. You can tighten the jam nut on the CGA347 valve handle so as not to require pushing inward on the handle to turn off the valve. Makes filling guns just a little easier. Be sure to keep your compressor pump cool, takes time to fill air bottles. When refilling the air bottle allow the air pressure from the compressor time to become higher than the remaining pressure in the SCBA bottle before opening the bottle valve.. Compressor pumps really dislike 3000 PSI of back pressure.

I am very comfortable using expired SCBA air bottles. Some here are not, others only buy DOT approved and hydro tested bottles mostly because vendors who sell HPA refills require that DOT certification. If you change bottle valves be certain your new valve has a burst disc built in. The CGA347 has a burst disc built in at the neck. Bust discs are our friend. Inspect the used air bottles internally for corrosion, externally for any damage to the clear coat that has also damaged the CF or Aramid wrap. My EBay shopping shows the 30 min. SCBA bottles to be the most available. A 30 minute is 4.5 liters capacity. The 9 liter (60 min.) SCBA bottles are much more costly. Two of the 30's is the same capacity for home. Just take one with for field or range. I will post pics when i get my 2nd air bottle and fittings to gang them. Do respect the energy contained.

I'm a pressure vessel inspector for work so I definitely understand the energy contained in a 4500 psi scba pressure vessel and the difference in potential energy between compressed gas and liquids. I just look at big ones used in oil and gas industries and power plant boilers for work.

Do you ever tether your bottles to your guns? Do you think I should change the valve from the fireman's version if I have a 4500PSI Carbon Fiber bottle? I am watching videos and doing some reading and they say be careful with the fireman's valve because they release a lot of air at once.

If I just crack the valve while tethered should I be OK tethering like that? Currently my notos has the factory air reservoir but I plan on adding the Huben power dream valve and a 4500psi cf bottle to it, volume of that bottle is to be determined.

I do know valves from a prior life. I find the CGA 347 on my Scott brand SCBA to work perfectly for gun filling. If you plan on tethering gun to bottle either add a pressure regulator to your fill whip or only fill the SCBA bottle to your gun's maximum pressure. The valve on mine has a great "feel" I can take my guns up to their 3 K PSI max. easily with the bottle above 4 K PSI. Do tighten up the jamb nut on the SCBA bottle valve knob, just snug with the knob pushed in. That will eliminate the breathing air safety feature that requires pushing in on the knob when closing the valve.
