Huben Can anything outslug the Huben K1?

Hey folks,
I'm looking into picking up a Huben K1 mainly for shooting slugs, and I’d love to hear from actual owners and their experience.
I have read about some compatibility issues where slugs wont sit well on magazine.

Between the .22 and .25 variants, which one performs better with slugs?
Both calibers need a pen to seat slugs inside the magazine?

Also open to suggestions. If there’s a better semi-auto slug shooter out there that rivals or beats the K1, I’m definitely interested.

I cannot speak for slugs I haven't put them through mine yet. I've spoken to several people who've shot other semi-automatic air guns. I honestly think the Huben is king it's so reliable easy to use the only downside that doesn't have a removable magazine. If you're ever in Massachusetts and you want to shoot mine we can meet at New England air guns. I went on a recent iguana hunting trip in Florida I was just throwing the iguanas it was great. Most of the guys have shot almost every type of gun and hands down they all said hubin was the best. Additionally, before I bought my air gun I read hundreds of posts and everybody steered me towards the huben and it's been the best thing. I'm going to be ordering some slugs so I could let you know at some point how they work

Phenomenal slug shooters once you find the slug that fits your mag chamber as they can vary in size. My prior K1 .22 shot .223 Varmint Knocker slugs phenomenally and the prior K1 .25 shot .254 NSA slugs phenomenally as well, I'm talking clover leaf touching groups at 140yds repeatedly. I managed to get 98fpe out of my K1 .25 shooting 47gr slugs at 969. But it really shined with the NSA 38.5gr going 970fps

K1 .22 shot 28.5gr and 32.8gr between 880 and 970, there was nothing that could get away from me inside of 200yds

Can you recommend a high-quality glass scope for the K1 that starts at 1x magnification under 300 usd?
I’m looking for something that brings high clarity and features for the price range.

Hawke Vantage IR x1 has some nice reviews other people mentioned Athlon as a better glass alternative but cheaper options usually start at x4 magnification

This is what I would recommend if you're looking for something like an LPVO or MPVO. I had this on my GK1 and have successfully done headshots on iguanas out to 73yd, and that I have on video on this forum. Otherwise, any of their 1-6 or 1-10 are great, they make better LPVO/MPVO than normal scopes for some reason.

Thank you for sharing, it was really helpful
I am still torn between .22 and .25 which one would you recommend from your experience? What are the main pros/cons you noticed?

Cons on the .22 is that your mag chamber can vary in size from .220-.224, not the individual chambers but the mag as a whole. There is much less variance with the .25, there's also less selection of slugs in .25 (con)

For me, I prefer the .22 caliber all together, but for the K1 platform if you are looking for power to take down larger game. I would go .25 as the NSA are harder slugs. If you want ammo that can be accurate and still expand go for the .22. You can still get power out of it but it taps out around 80fpe
