Can I use a .25/30 moderator on a .22?

So I have a DonnyFl Sumo which is in .25/.30, but I wanted to know if there was anyway that I would be able to use it on a .22 Airgun?

Thank you for your response! That’s what I thought, but someone told me that somehow it could break the moderator. And I just can’t see how.

it may not be quite as quiet as the hole is larger

but i dont see it hurting it,
maybe if you tried a .22 donny on a .30 then there would be pieces lol

I put my Sumo on a .177 TalonP shooting slugs. Amazingly effective

anyone have any experience with a Donnyfl Sumo on a .25 Factor RC? There's one I want to buy but it'll be gone before I have completed my 10 day "cooling off" period.

I used a .30 cal Huma Mod 40 on my .22 Huben for a long time with no issues. That said I recently switched it to a .25 Huggett Magna Mini and am getting better accuracy (probably from harmonic differences) for a slight increase in sound level. But the swtich was only made for better accuracy - you have no way of knowing what does best on accuracy without testing it out.
