some guns maybe nothing at all, some others it could but that would depend on how old it was it was when stored

Get a climate controlled unit, and make sure it is oiled, and in a silicon sock.

Throw in some dessicant packs as well.

Climate especially heat and time are the enemy of o Rings and if a pressurized or sealing surface - deformation can and does occur

All depends on the inside condition of the gun when it was stored. The seals may have dried out. They may very well be bad especially sitting that long with no sealing pressure on them. If there was any moisture inside sitting for a couple of years there will most likely be corrosion. When you pierce that first c02 you will know pretty quickly.
