FX Can some explain this picture

My 3 Impacts have 4 lines on the valve adjuster so max for me is 1.5 turns out from the 4th line. How many lines does yours have?

The six indication grooves. I can't decide on what I want, but everything I've seen and watched they all have 4 groves, never 6.

You don't get too choose when buying one. You get what you got. And it really doesn't matter in setting up the gun.

Can't recall specifics, topic surfaced when M3s came out, pre-M3 Impacts might have had six rings, or six rings were originally planned. "...depending on version," could indicate manual covered multiple variants. WM

Don’t pay attention to lines. They really don’t even serve a purpose. If they did serve a purpose the valve knob would look like a micrometer. But it doesn’t. Pay attention to your chronograph. Then bust out your digital calipers when you find a setting you like. I start all my tuning way out beyond the first line. Then turn it in until it first makes a difference and take a measurement then jot that number down. That number will stay in my notes for the starting point for that reg/hammer setting if I ever tear the gun apart or experiment with other reg settings or projectiles.
