Can This Be Removed?

In the late 60’s and early 70’s, if you had any class you had one of these on everything.

Note to self: never buy CF bottle from JB.
In all fairness to Joe, ya can't really blame him for trying to get the word out through a little advertising. What with all the bling, stickers, dips, wraps etc, that people add to rifles nowadays,,maybe he thought 'what the heck?'. He might have taken a cue from Saber Tactical, they do not miss a chance to logo up their stuff.

Now, the above statement is not to be interpreted to indicate that I am all lathered up in anticipation of getting one for my own.
The whole 'every square inch is advertising space' culture is wearing thin for me.

I have not seen one in person, but maybe JB put the sticker on and painted it over with resin. When re-testers certify CF bottles they add a sticker and resin over it, at least in Ohio anyway.

Edit: Looking at some photos others posted, it looks like you can see a 2” wide or so band of resin completely around the culinder.

Fine sand the resin coating on it, mask around it with painter's tape, spray paint it black. Might not perfectly match but BETTER than seeing THAT!
Sanding on a carbon fiber pressure vessel sounds risky. I doubt BRK (or anyone else) will warrant the safety of a carbon fiber bottle that has been modified.

It's under the resin.

If it's truly under the resin that's a good reason for me never to buy from that company that puts a label under the resin so you're walking advertisement for the seller. Of course if you get a heavily discounted price to advertise for them or you like the company so much then go for it.

Before this gets out of hand, I probably wrapped mine about a week after I got mine but these as well as the other branded bottles were marked from the bottle manufacturer for these small shops in short runs. So basically it is at the same depth as the bottle info. Jb is not the only one, AirMarksman, Tuxing,, talontunes... If you buy enough for a run you can put your own mark on. You can put STP or even airgunnattion.com on if you want.

So I just unwrapped mine so you can see.

There is a clear heat shrink wrap that you can get also. I think it could protect the bottle and in between the emblem and clear heat shrink you can put anything you want.

Hmmm.

Seems to me there was someone that made a neoprene bottle cover with a full closed end at the bottles radius bottom, and came partially up into the neck. I want to say his last name started with a W? He makes the best looking covers I’ve seen.

That’s the only reason bottle covers never appealed to me, as it was just a sleeve with open ends, a plain Jane tube
