When your Spring breaks let me know. I have one in a trunk I could send you. Pretty much the whole Gun except for a few broken parts for the spring seating.^ That.
When the spring in the Quest 1000x breaks (as they all seem to do), it's coming apart. The barrel will be adapted to the .22 QB78 and the stock will be used for it as well.
J~
While I don't deny that, the key word here is 'can' If you have taken the time to look back on this thread to the pictures I posted of the broken part (s) the small piece in the center of two of the photos is less the size of a women's little finger nail. I also included a photo of the area under the air transfer hole the part broke off from. While as you say...sinterings CAN be incredibly strong they clearly failed in the application use on my rifle.Sintered steel can make incredibly strong parts. Including racing connecting rods.
Are we talking about more than one thing here on this thread? When your Spring breaks let me know. I have one in a trunk I could send you. Pretty much the whole Gun except for a few broken parts for the spring seating.

My 1000x is the Striker Hatsan. in 25.cal That is why I was confused when you were commenting in this thread. I still haven't figured out what happened to my add in the classified, I looked back through 10 pages of adds and it never should have been anywhere near that far back. When your Spring breaks let me know. Thanks, I never would have thought it was back that far.Page 11 to be exact.

And he mentioned the Quest 1000X. I have 2 of those. 1 is a parts Gun.
I also have Hatsan Parts guns.
How would it be attached to the main frame of the rifle? What would the repair total in cost, we don't want to loose sight of the fact the gun can be replaced for less than $160.00 with a completely new one.Would an entirely new, 3D printed catch made from carbon-fiber reinforced nylon work?

I have the piece I just need to reattach it from where it broke off, waiting now for silver solder and paste to arrive, it's due in tomorrow.I haven't dine this exact part before however; it is small enough the make a new one out of steel or aluminum (606T or better). mane a pattern and cut and file to size/thickness. If you can silver solder try that first. The smaller the part is the easier it is to make. Might need a micrometer to measure for sure.
