Wow, I had no idea there are so many whiners here.
While I've read a few comments here that I agree with and some...like the apparent haters, are just plain childs play.
On the other hand, like one poster noted, using a / any gun for an afternoon or two, putting less than 100 rounds through it (your basic words), does not...get you familiar with the gun. Sure, you've handled a lot of guns, and know the basics, but in my short time getting familiar with various guns, to me, it puts me...almost...right up there close you, in OVERALL gun knowledge, which in reality, isn't very informed in any given gun ! I'm still learning, got a long way to go.
In my "early" (!!!) days on this forum, I noticed a lot of your videos. Like was posted earlier, your use of over the top use of some adjectives and comments, actually turned me off of watching your videos. I realized that the only reason you knew more about a given gun, was that you had it in your hand, and I didn't. I seemed to know a very similar amount of knowledge as you do, and like I said, I don't have the gun in my hand. I just did some of my own homework, mostly reading others comments and reports. You tought me little to nothing new that I hadn't already figured out in my own reading.
Again. like above, the way I see it. if you want to be more well liked (NOT everyone will!), you need to get deeper into the given gun that you are talking about. Pass on some real, actual detailed information, not just surface fluff that means little to many / most. Like the videos on the AEAC, Steve heads much deeper into the guns that he reviews. He learns about the details of the gun, what actually makes them work well...or not so well (e doesn't do much of that !). Get away from your..."best trigger", or "amazing barrel", or the over the top stock, or the..."best this, best that comments.
Not all / many guns have the "best" of much of anything..! Many or most have very good, this or that to them, but "few" have the BEST of anything. Plus, what's "best" for one, may be meaningless to another person.
Lighten up here on the forum, lighten up with your wording in your videos, do more, in depth research about the guns that you "review" (used lightly). You may well get off a little easier here.
