Can you just leave the fill probe in the airguns seal and go shoot?

Also if the pcp is leaking from the seal... Wouldnt letting the fill probe in the seal stop the leaking? Wouldnt the problem be "solved" or the rifle wouldnt let you shoot while having a leaking problem even if the seal is blocked?
(This just randomly came through my mind I dont have air leak porblem lol)

What Air Archer said !
Obviously, it's got a big hole...in the end of it ! So, any gun leakage will speed right through the hole in the probe and into the air.

Yes, if the probe doesn't interfere with other things in my safe (because of some odd angle), yes, I leave the probe in the gun.

As far as leaving the probe with the pump (as noted above), that's fine if you ONLY have ONE...probe ! Some of us have more than a coupla guns.
