Im going up to my place upstate NY for a long weekend of shooting. All by myself!!! I have my compressor now so my air will be unlimited. Thank God. Im spending today making targets out of anything I can find. I need some more ideas though. I made quite a few of animal targets out of wood to set out at long distance. I know they will be destroyed though. I also cut a hole through some old yellow softballs I plan on hanging off a tree out past 100 yards. If anyone on here is near the Binghamton area your welcome to stop by and shoot. A friend of mine I met on the yellow forum ten years ago is coming by to shoot his springers.

3 liter pop bottle caps hot glued to long golf T's work well. So do Paintballs atop the golf T!

Not sure what your shooting with but I found that apples absolutely explode from crow magnums and my .25 vulcan. No need to clean it up either if your shooting in the woods.

Im mostly shooting my new condor ss in 25. Plus Im bringing up my old career iii 300 in 22. This gun is a beast too shooting at almost 70 ft lbs. But it is as loud as a rimfire. Im bringing up some old halo oranges that are bad to shoot.

I have been shooting some old pop cans. Crush them first so they are compact. Throw them out as far as you can and start shooting. Each hit will roll them further away and make it challenging. When you can't hit them anymore. Walk out, bring them back and start all over again. Cheap fun entertainment.

Actually I drilled a half inch hole through a couple of old smaller softballs and put a piece of rope or cord through them and hung them on trees at different distances. This was fun because a solid hit would make them swing and the 25 cal pellets just got absorbed by the ball. Set them out at about 65, 75 and 101 yards.

Thanks.I am going to save that sight. Im also trying to get ideas for easy to make reactive targets. I get very bored and then agitated shooting paper. LOL I don't know why but I always have brain farts when shooting paper. Usually only to sight in and then knock downs. Cans. Plastic golf balls, stuff like that. I wish I could shoot paper like the guys on here.
