I recently sold a few toys and am now anxiously expecting a new Benjamin Kratos .22 from Crosman. I’ve owned a total of 7 PCP airguns thus far, and with the Kratos I will now have 5 in the house/shop to play with, so color me at least a little bit experienced. I’ve never owned a bottle gun however, but I have had a long time desire for a BSA Super 10, an itch I’ve never had the opportunity to scratch. So I’m hoping the Kratos will seal the deal for me, bottle wise.
Recently I’ve noticed that the Super 10 is available with a CF bottle, and I would like to run one on the Kratos. I’m hoping to accomplish two things, weight reduction and possibly increased shot count. If I’m right, the bottles on both rifles are threaded identically. If so, and if the outside diameters are the same, could I not obtain a new CF bottle meant for a BSA from bestfittings in the UK? Is there anything to prevent such a swap? Perhaps a valve of some sort between the bottle and the rifle?
Like I wrote above, I’m a bit experienced, but this is a pay grade or two higher than my usual fumbling. Any advice? Any experience?
Thanks in advance to all who might comment.
